About Us
Welcome to Redhoods Badminton club!
Founded 57 years ago, we are a friendly and easy-going badminton club based in Letchworth, affiliated with Badminton England. While we play competitively, we value support, encouragement, and the joy of the game just as much. Our members enjoy regular social events, and we strive to create a welcoming atmosphere where players can thrive, improve, whilst being supported and having fun.
Our Origins
Redhoods Badminton Club, founded in 1968, has a rich history of competitive play and strong social traditions, from it's early days at RAF Henlow, to Fearnhill Sports Centre, and now to the Priory School in Hitchin.
Redhoods joined the Letchworth Badminton League in the late 1970s and has since grown to field multiple teams across several leagues. In 1983, the club introduced the Scott Trophy, an annual internal tournament named in honour of founder Eric Scott.

We strive to make badminton accessible for everyone. We promote competitive spirit while ensuring a positive and fun experience for all.
